[] My Mental Health Journey [] How to Give Yourself a Pep Talk! []

Do you feel anxious and overwhelmed in some situations and want to manage those feelings without medication? In this video, I tell you how I keep myself in check and give myself personal pep talks. Pep talks are just one way I manage my anxiety when I have to go through with something nerve racking or just need a little encouragement to stay calm. Watch now - (76) How To Give Yourself A PEP TALK [] Why I give myself Pep Talks - Managing anxiety without medication - YouTube

[] MY PERSONAL PEP TALKS!

I give myself pep talks to help me realise that I am perfectly capable of getting through any tricky situation and that I just need to remain calm and take things step by step. If I need to I will give myself upwards of 10 pep talks a day, depending on what kind of day it is, I may only need one in the morning to set myself up to have a positive day!

[] REMEMBER - Our anxiety has no rationality and will just pop its head up out of nowhere and right us off for the day, week, month. However, if you learn how to manage your anxiety it gets so much easier in the long run, and you might find that it subsides for longer periods of time.

** When your anxiety hits, try and remain rational and let that take control of your anxiety. Slow, deep breathes will calm your heart rate and reduce your anxiety, slowly the anxiety will ease and become more controllable - be patient and keep practicing! You will master it, if you persist **
